2018 Ukiyo Rosé of Pinot Noir
2018 Ukiyo Rosé of Pinot Noir
The Japanese word Ukiyo translates to “floating world.” This concept embraced the pursuit of worldly, hedonistic pleasures in 18th century Japan.
This rosé embodies that concept and opens up and dances to the music.
The nose offers a hint of candied green apple, ripe strawberry, and cherry pie, as well as a fragrant bouquet of floral undertones.
Lined with a strong core of acidity, the wine showcases generous flavors of fresh rhubarb, cranberry, and hibiscus.
A bountiful year, this rosé was hand-picked early during the harvest season, fermented, and aged in both neutral oak barrels and stainless steel tanks.
